Tracy "Dan" Fears
DAN FEARS began his tenure with the Council in May of 1995 and now is Mayor. He has been a resident of Iowa Park for more than 25 years. He and his wife Charlie have two children, Michael Kouri of Austin, and Ashley Wetzel of Wichita Falls and her husband Tyler Wetzel. They also have two grandchildren Tanner Wetzel and Tadem Wetzel. He is an active member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park. He attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville and previously worked for KLUR radio where he was an On-Air Personality and was well known as "Dancin' Dan Baker". He was later a Sales Executive and Music Director there. Dan also worked as a Manager for Lamar Advertising. Dan won a Who’s Who in Entertainment award in 1987 from the Country Music Association. an is on the Wichita Wilbarger Counties 911 Board of Managers. He is a past Vice-President of the Arthritis Foundation board of Directors, the Rotary Club of Wichita Falls, Board of Regents for The boys & Girls Clubs, and the Gold Coat Ambassadors of The Wichita Falls, Vice President of the Red River Board of Directors to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Vice President of the Wichita Falls Advertising Federation Board of Directors. He was also on the Board of Directors for the Texas Municipal League Region 5 Nominating Committee serving multiple terms. His abilities also allow him to perform various public relations duties for his church. He enjoys Golf, Woodworking and Church Work. As Iowa Park Mayor Dan is on the Nortex Regional Executive Committee, Joint Land Use Policies Committee with Sheppard Air Force Base as well as The Sheppard Affairs Committee.

SHERRIE WILLIAMS was elected Councilor, Place Five in May of 2003 and in 2011 was appointed to the position of Mayor Pro tem by her fellow council members where she continues to serve today. She currently serves on several Council committees including the Salary and Benefits Committee, the Christmas Lights Task Force Committee and the City/RAC Council. In addition to these committees, Sherrie also serves on the July Fourth Explode-Arama Committee and is co-founder, along with Michael Merrell, of the annual 9/11 “We Remember” ceremony. Sherrie is past president of the Texas Municipal League Region 5. On the state level, she serves on the TML Small Cities Advisor Committee, and the Texas Municipal League's Legislative Policy Committee providing oversight of transportation and utilities regulation issues in Texas. She is a past member of the Texas Municipal League's Legislative Policy Committee providing oversight of eminent domain and development regulation issues in Texas. She served three years on the Association of Mayors, Council Members and Commissioners (AMCC) nominating committee. She is a five year recipient of certificates of recognition for over 42 hours of continuing education, each of those years in municipal government from the Texas Municipal Leadership Institute.
Since 1997, Sherrie has worked as a reporter and feature writer for the Iowa Park Leader; prior to that, she volunteered as a dental technician at Sheppard Air Force Base after completing her 960-hour certification course in 1992. She and her husband Floyd, have two children and 10 grandchildren. Their daughter, Rena Davis and her husband Steve have six children, Kaitlynn, Joe and James Bever, and Ayden, Ashley and Austin Davis. Their son Bobby and his wife, Staci have four children, Meagan, Melanie, Teagen, and Branson. Sherrie is an active member of the Evening Lions Clubs where she has served as President, Vice-President and Secretary; she has also served as the Lions Club District #2E1 Region and Zone chair. Her hobbies include reading, riding ATVs, furthering her knowledge of city government and volunteering, organizing and assisting with community activities along with spending time with her family.

Stephanie has lived in Iowa Park for over 35 years and has been a member of the Iowa Park City Council for over 4 years. Stephanie is also a member of the Iowa Park Police Association. She has been employed with Wal-Mart for 19 years and is an Assistant Manager. Children are Trevor, Dustin, Shanna and daughter-in-law Shane. Her hobbies are gardening, scrap-booking and volunteering.
Tim Sheppard was elected to Place 1 on the City Council in May 2013. He and wife Renee have resided in Iowa Park for approximately nine years and they have four children; Jessie, Cody, Cameron and Jarod Cooper. Tim owns and has operated Shep’s Custom Cabinets for the last six years. He is a former member of the Iowa Park Volunteer Fire Department and currently serves as President for the Iowa Park Youth Baseball Association. Tim’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping and says he and his family just loves the great outdoors.
Keith Dyer, a lifelong resident of Iowa Park, was elected to the position of Councilor Place 3 in June of 2013. He and his wife Debbie have five children; they are Hayli, Lindsay, Julie, Kelley and Lacy. The Dyers also have seven grandchildren. Keith is an independent engineering consultant and mechanical inspector for the oil, chemical and construction industry. In 2010, Keith was a candidate for the 13th District to the United States House of Representatives. His hobbies include high performance cars, guns and metal fabrication.
