JOE WARD was elected Mayor in May of 2008 and previously served as councilman since 1996. He and his wife Evelyn have lived in Iowa Park since 1975 and have three children, Joe Junior, Valerie and Wes. He is the retired manager of the Federal Aviation Airway Facilities unit at Sheppard AFB and is a registered engineer. Joe is a member of Faith Baptist Church and serves on their Deacon body and teaches a Bible Class. He currently serves as Secretary of the Iowa Park Masonic Lodge and is a past Master of that organization. He is a member of the York Rite Masons and the Knights Templar. He currently serves as one of the Board of Directors for the Iowa Park Friendly Door and a member of the Iowa Park Recreational Activity Center’s RAC Council. He previously worked with the Texas Baptist Disaster Relief Task Force for many years. He enjoys working with his computer and operating an amateur radio while holding an operator’s license since 1953.

JOE SINGER first served on the Council, filling an unexpired term in December of 1975 until April of 1978. He returned to the Council in May of 1996 and has served several terms as Mayor Pro tem. He and his wife Wanda have lived in Iowa Park for forty-eight years and have two children, Teri and Tony and one grandchild. Joe is retired from Pharmaceutical sales and is a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park where he serves on the Deacon body and as a Sunday School Director. He is currently serving on the NORTEX Regional Planning Commission's TRAC Commission, the Criminal Justice Council and the Transportation Coordinating Committee, on the Cross Plains Rural Transportation Council and the American Cancer Society Board as well as the Noon Lions Club of Iowa Park and the Chamber of Commerce as a Board member. Joe is active in the Wichita/Archer/Clay Baptist Association and the Texas Municipal League. In 1998 Joe was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce as its Outstanding Senior Citizen. He enjoys woodowrking, gardening and stamp collection.

TRACY “DAN” FEARS began his tenure with the Council in May of 1995 and now is Mayor Protem. He has been a resident of Iowa Park for more than 20 years. He and his wife Charlie have two children, Michael Kouri, Ashley Wetzel and her husband Tyler Wetzel. They also have one grandchild Tanner Wetzel. He is an active member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park. He attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville and previously worked for KLUR radio where he was an On-Air Personality and was well known as "Dancin' Dan Baker". He was also a Sales Executive and Music Director. Dan won a Who’s Who in Entertainment award in 1987 from the Country Music Association. He is a past President of the Arthritis Foundation board of Directors, the Rotary Club of Wichita Falls, Board of Regents and the Gold Coat Ambassadors of Wichita Falls, Wichita Falls Board of Commerce and Industry, Vice President of the Red River Board of Directors to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Vice President of the Wichita Falls Advertising Federation Board of Directors. His abilities also allow him to perform various public relations duties for his church. He enjoys Golf, Woodworking and Church Work.

RAYMOND “RAY” SCHULTZ was first elected to the City Council in May of 2007. He, along with his wife Amie and sons Jacob, Raymond and Johnathan have lived in Iowa Park for ten years. He and his family are members of the Christ the King Catholic Church. He currently serves as a Wichita County Sheriff’s Deputy. Ray is active in volunteering at the Iowa Park Friendly Door Senior Citizens Center, the Chamber of Commerce, the Wichita County Sheriff’s Posse and the Christ the King Men’s Group. He enjoys fishing with his sons, biking and loves to play golf.

SHERRIE WILLIAMS was elected to Place 5 on the Council in May of 2003. She, along with husband Floyd, are active in the Evening Lions Clubs where Sherrie has served as President, Vice-President and Secretary; she has also served as the Lions Club District #2E1 Region and Zone chair. She is a member of the Iowa Park Police Officers' Association and is currently serving as that organization's Secretary. Related to her Council duties, Sherrie serves on the City/RAC Council, the Christmas Light Task Force Committee and July 4th Explode-Arama Committee. Sherrie is currently serving on the Texas Municipal League's Legislative Policy Committee providing oversight of eminent domain and development regulation issues in Texas. Sherrie is also a Resource Board member for the North Central Texas Enterprise Corporation. Since 1997 she has worked as a reporter and feature writer for the Iowa Park Leader; prior to that she volunteered as a dental technician at Sheppard Air Force Base after completing her 960-hour certification course in 1992. Sherrie is experienced in retail sales and has served in restaurant management before moving to Iowa Park. Her hobbies include reading, riding ATVs, furthering her knowledge of city government and volunteering, organizing and assisting with community activities along with spending time with her son Bobby and daughter Rena and her five grandchildren. Stephanie Wooten has lived in Iowa Park for over 30 years and was elected to the council in May 2008. Stephanie is married to Terry and has four children Shanna, Trevor, Cody and Dustin. Stephanie has worked for Walmart for 15 years as assistant manager. She serves on the Iowa Park RAC board , the Iowa Park Police Association and volunteers for the Iowa Park Chamber of Commerce. Her hobbies include scrap booking, gardening and watching Shanna play sports.
