Catch the Reading Express

To encourage your child to read this summer, the
Tom Burnett Memorial Library is sponsoring the 2010 Texas Reading Club.  The
library will have many activities that make reading fun.  These programs begin
June lst, and end June 29th.  There is no charge for the reading
club.

Encourage your child to participate in the Texas Reading Club!  By
doing so, you will help your child retain hard earned reading skills acquired
during the school year. 

Schedule:

June 1st -- 10:00-10:30 -- Register
for summer reading followed by performer "Debbie Day"

June 8th -- 10:30 --
"World on a string"

June 15th -- 10:30 -- "McGruff

June 22nd -- 10:30 --
"Andy Mason"

June 28th -- 6:00-7:30 -- Swimming party at Spray Park--Life
guards will be on duty.  The concession stand will not be open, so bring your
own snacks/no glass containers please!

June 29th -- 10:30-The ending picnic. 
Prizes will be given away.  Bring a sack lunch, and the library will provide
drinks and dessert.
